I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
