A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday after a November announcement of a rare blood cancer diagnosis.

News of her death was announced in a social media post from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Insight into the Condition
In a personal essay late last year, she disclosed that she had been diagnosed with a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that targets the blood and bone marrow.
